In about four months, I’m going to be a father. As everyone tells me, without fail, the baby will Change Everything.
And I’m sure I’m not going to have nearly as much time for my favorite hobby, video gaming. I’m also sure that I will shortly be sharing my entertainment machines with a small, highly-impressionable human.
So, I’ve recycled the old Fuzzy Buzz blog and recast it as a forum for my thoughts on gaming and fatherhood. How much do I want my children adopting my hobby at an early age? What software is appropriate? What are the best mediums? Do I actually have any control in this always-wired, always-connected world?
I’m sure I’m not the only one asking these questions, and I’d love to have your feedback and advice. Also, check out my wife’s blog for news on “The Velociraptor.”
